2001: A Space Odyssey Sketch Card (Chris Henderson)

It’s been exactly four decades since the Stanley Kubrick masterpiece was released in theatres. I’ve seen it a number of times yet I still don’t understand the need to watch a couple of astronauts floating in space for five minutes straight. Wouldn’t one get the point across? Regardless, I will concede that 2001 looks spectacular, especially considering it was released prior to Star Wars.

This card comes from Breygent’s awesome over-sized Classic Sci-Fi and Horror Posters set. It’s a one-per-box ketch card done by Chris Henderson. Like the base cards, all sketch cards were also over sized. They were also all done in colour if I’m not mistaken. 2001 was also included as a two-card puzzle insert. All in all, this is a great set worth checking out, even if it isn’t the traditional measurements.
